COOL Summer Vacation!

Youth camp was AWE to the SOME! It was fun, amazing, simply enjoyable. We had a very entertaining yet anointed servant of God, Pastor Nicholas Choo. The theme for this COOL Youth Camp was ID-ME; which means Identify Me. This camp certainly has reached its goal as it helped me to discover myself better and to know that I am God's masterpiece. Ephesians 2:10 says it all- For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. For those who do not know, COOL stands for Christ Our Only Lord.

For now, let the pictures do the talking. Sit back, buckle up your seat belts as the pictures takes you on a journey of the 4 days 3 nights camp at Hotel Seri Malaysia, Malacca. Enjoy~

This is part of the COOL Youth worship team =) the most front girl is Melissa Pang whom left recently for her NS stint. We'll miss her very much... but God has His purpose in sending her there- to be the light and salt for Him!

That's our awesome speaker, Pastor Nicholas Choo praying for us...

One thing God has taught me in this camp was it is not God who has to move to suit himself to my plans and dreams; but rather it is I who has to move forward to align myself to God's plans and dreams or my life.

We did drawings on 2 boxes. One was a box of God's dreams for us.

This is how it looks like. :DD Well... mine was not too nice as I didn't really put in as much effort as some of my friends who made really nice ones. The top right is mine fyi.. haha =)

And one of the best part of the camp was obviously.... the GAMES!

Acting game, station games which comprises of walking in a team with arms locked, each one memorizing Ephesians 2:10, eating apples in pairs, paper stepping game... whatever you call it..., taking out balloons from flour using your mouth, scissors, paper, stone game in a different way.... Might have left out others.. Anyway, recalling all these from my memory through looking back at pictures. =)

Apple eating game :)

First pic: Blue team posing after the flour station games; Second pic: picture with youth friends! XD

More pics...

Btw, we learnt to make balloon sculpture too. How cool is that?!?! So uber cool!... Well, at least for me. Teehee. Have always wanted to learn that. :)

Balloon sculptures... fyi, Pastor Nicholas uses these balloon sculptures as an aid in preaching. Seriously, every time he does that, all eyes are on him. One interesting way in grabbing our attention. Oh.. he does magic tricks too. And he taught us a few~ Tell me again, how cool is that?! haha.. lol..

And of course, our hang out aka Maggi time... while watching a movie called Christine. On the last night, 16 youths slept in a room meant for 4 ppl. Awesome? lol..

Anyway, I'll end with...

We are Making A Difference for God because we are His masterpiece!

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.

Sticking together

My wonderful team members! From left: Veronica, Mei Wei, Fee Vien, Melissa
Missing in action: Cammy and Syairah due to some unavoidable reasons

Breakfast before "working." lol.

I believe it wasn't by accident that we were in the same Management team for this assignment.

And I thank God very much for the each and every one of you. Indeed, each one of you is unique and special in your own ways. When one is weak, one is also strong. Somehow in a way, we complement each other. That's what a team is for. United we stand, divided we fall!

Let's bring the house down this coming Tuesday! ;)

Oh and btw,

Sunway Pyramid here we come!!! XD

13.09.08

Strong and tough
Funny and loving
Pretty and sweet
Never ending
This is the girl I've been talking
And now I am, finally showing.

Ladies and gentlemen.

Presenting to you........

Ms. Ng Su Ann =D haha..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SU ANN!

Hey, you're 15 years old this year! Quite 'old' already. Lol.

Actually BIG girl already.

Well, you are one of my hippest(coolest) cousins around. Haha..

Just want to encourage you

Things may never seem to go the way you want

But Jesus is the way to run

Your refuge, strong tower and deliverer

He loves you forever and ever

Hold on to Him day and night

And He will never let you go out of His sight

Trust in Him with all your heart

And He will never break your heart.

*haha. I never thought I would end up writing this way.

Anyway, I must say I am so proud of you to have seen you grown in faith. I think it's a real privilege to see you grow. Continue to hang on to Him. Run the race God has called you to and fight the good fight. May you be the salt and light for Him wherever you are- school, home, church, outside.. Anywhere you can walk or go to! Hehe.. Stay strong. Stay pretty. Stay cool. Stay YOU! Jesus loves you very much! And yup, I heart you too! =)

* The reason I've put Happy Birthday instead of Happy Belated Birthday (and still not changing it) not becoz I'm not aware of it, but coz it was meant to be a birthday post and not a belated birthday post. Just that I couldn't find the time to blog earlier.

So yeah, Happy Birthday,cuz! =)

College ain't that fun anymore...

I used to be happy going to college. Last semester, Public Speaking, Macroeconomics and General Biological Science were the "interesting" subjects I took. Lol.. It was fun! Public Speaking was the best and the most entertaining subject for me! Not to mention, friends who were taking this subject too were the best! But I have to say that I'm so blessed to have other wonderful friends in Macroeconomics and Biology classes who have really been a great hand in helping me in ways.. THANK YOU! :D This semester,I have College Algebra with Applications which is MATHS! (one of the subjects that I really look forward to; have been waiting all my life in college), Introduction to Computer Applications, Management Principles and Business Law. Ain't going that far to elaborate more.. Picture speaks a thousand words. So,here are some pictures from last semester-projects,assignments,random pics..

What a tragic day!

Yesterday, after church.. As my mum,my small bro and myself were just standing outside the car at the car park lot.. a chinese man with one of his hand full of dried-up blood stains together with his wife, who was driving the motorbike all of a sudden stopped by to ask for a few hundred bucks! The man said he just met with an accident and urgently needs money to see a doctor. Alot of brief conversations carried on here as my mum bagan to questioned him as to why can't he go to a doctor nearby but all the way to his so-called company's doctor. And he replied,"It's cheaper." And he said he would return the money later on.. He will give his wife's IC for us to keep as a guarantee.. Bet the IC is fake.. Anyway, mum gave him RM 10 to help him coz as she says we do not know what desperate situation they are in. And at least he will go away.. After he saw my mum giving his wife the RM 10,he headed to another car starting the same thing all over again.. showing his hand full of dried blood and began to ask for money again..

Honestly, I felt a little disappointed to see that chinese couple doing such a thing.. The stories, the lies.. Everything.. I don't like it.. But at the same time I pray that whatever circumstances they're going through,I pray God will bring them through.. It breaks my heart to see them do such a thing.. But yet I believe they are in a desperate enough situation to lead them to carry out such actions..

And I thank my God so much for protecting each and every one of us yesterday. Anything could have happened yesterday. Really anything! Who knows if he would just snatch my mum's handbag.. Or mine.. Who knows if he is hiding a knife or anything? Who knows if he would hurt my youngest bro or anyone of us.. And the lists of who knows goes on.... So, once again.. Thank You God, so much for Your protection and covering.. It's amazing to know that no matter what situations be it dangerous or not,YOU,God are still in control. =) And having the peace that is beyond understanding..
